CLASSIC

The Classic board is for a rider who is into casual riding. Whether that is cruising the streets of your college campus or skating along the boardwalk, this board is meant to be a casual form of transportation for the casual boarder. We made it easy to ride and adaptable to most boardriding situations. Some important characteristics of this board are:

Flex - Medium

Wheels - Soft

Grip - Regular

Trucks - Cruising

FREERIDE

The Freeride board is for critical riding. This board is meant for sliding, swerving, and grinding down steep surfaces. It can take down any hill you want to charge and then some. Specifically, this board does well on hot, steep, asphalt, but it shreds down cement and wood. This board was made to handle intensity, speed, and turns. Some important characteristics of this board are:

Flex - Ridgid

Wheels - Hard

Grip - Coarse

Trucks - Downhill

At Tortuga boards, we have a variety of different colors but we carry the same pattern across all our boards, the endless swirl of a turtle shell. You choose TWO colors for your turtle shell bottom, well throw the our logo in the center, and make your board a piece of artwork. Below, we've provided a few examples.
